How WEEKLY handles customer and order information

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WEEKLY (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you use our grocery ordering and delivery service. WEEKLY operates from Omassery, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. Please contact us if you have questions about this policy.

1. Information we may handle

2. Guest QuickOrder

You can place a QuickOrder without creating a customer account. We handle the name, phone number, address and order details you submit so that the order can be received, prepared, delivered, supported and recorded. Guest orders may be retained in our business order records even though a guest account is not created.

3. Location and WhatsApp

When location access is enabled for an order, the app uses the location to estimate delivery distance and calculate delivery charges. As described for the current service flow, the delivery location is sent in the WhatsApp order message. We do not intend to use that GPS location as a saved delivery address in the bill or later customer order history. WhatsApp is a separate service and its own privacy terms also apply to information sent through it.

4. Why we use information

5. Where information is processed

WEEKLY uses Supabase for parts of its application data and Google authentication for Login & Order. Order communications may use WhatsApp. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. We do not claim that all information is stored only on your device.

6. Account deletion and business records

If you delete your WEEKLY app account, your previous bills and orders will no longer be available to you through the customer account experience. We may retain order and billing records needed for sales, profit calculations, accounting, dispute handling, security or legal compliance. Those retained records may remain available to authorised administrators for legitimate business purposes.

If you later use the service again, your customer-facing order history may not show the previous account’s bills. Account deletion from the app should not be understood as a promise that every business record is immediately erased from every system. We retain records only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and applicable requirements.

7. Sharing and access

Information may be accessible to authorised WEEKLY administrators and to service providers used to operate authentication, the app database, support and order communications. We do not describe customer information as being sold. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, customers or business.

8. Security and retention

We use the technical and organisational controls available in the service to help protect information. No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure. We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for order fulfilment, business records, support, security and applicable legal obligations.

9. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with your use of WEEKLY, correct details where supported, or request account deletion. Some order or billing records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons even after an account is deleted.

10. Children

WEEKLY is intended for people who can lawfully place orders. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the request.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The latest version published in the app or on our website will apply from its stated update date.

12. Contact

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact us at weeklyofficial7@gmail.com. Customers using Login & Order may also use the in-app Help & Support option.

Note: This policy is written to describe the service as currently understood. Before public launch, confirm it matches the live app, database settings, provider arrangements and applicable Indian privacy and consumer requirements.
