Cancellation & Refund Policy

Requests, order status and refund handling

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains how cancellation, return and refund requests are handled for WEEKLY grocery orders. The outcome depends on the order status, the issue reported and the applicable order process.

Important: Sending a cancellation or return request does not mean it has been approved. Check the order status or contact WEEKLY for confirmation.

1. Requesting cancellation

Where the order screen provides a Cancel Request option, a customer may submit a request while the order is in an eligible status (currently, the request option is intended to be available while the order is Pending). The request is reviewed by the admin. It may be accepted or rejected depending on preparation, dispatch and other order circumstances.

If the option is no longer available, contact WEEKLY promptly by email or through Help & Support in the app, if available for your account. A request made after processing or dispatch has begun may not be possible to fulfil as a cancellation.

2. When a cancellation is confirmed

An order should be treated as cancelled only after the cancellation has been confirmed in the order flow or by WEEKLY. If the request is rejected, the order may continue under its existing status. Customers should not assume that merely sending a WhatsApp message or closing the app has cancelled an order.

3. Return policy — inspect at delivery

Please check all items while the delivery person is still present, allowing reasonable time to inspect the order and bill.

If an issue is reported at handover, WEEKLY may verify it and record an appropriate Return Request or other resolution before the delivery person leaves, where practical. Please do not mark an order as accepted until you have had a reasonable chance to inspect it.

After the delivery person leaves: returns for issues that could reasonably have been identified during handover may generally not be accepted after the order has been checked and accepted. However, this does not exclude complaints about hidden defects, food safety, issues that could not reasonably be identified at handover, or any remedy required by applicable law. Contact WEEKLY promptly if such an issue arises.

Perishable or opened goods may require additional review. Nothing in this policy removes any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Refunds and payment methods

If a refund is approved, WEEKLY will communicate the amount and the method or next steps based on the payment method used and the circumstances. For cash-on-delivery orders, any approved adjustment or refund arrangement will be explained by WEEKLY. For UPI or other digital payments, the customer may be asked to confirm the relevant transaction details. Processing time can depend on the payment provider or bank.

This policy does not promise an automatic or instant refund, and does not state that every cancellation or return qualifies for a refund. Any approved refund should be confirmed by WEEKLY. Do not share OTPs, passwords or UPI PINs to receive a refund.

5. Charges, coupons and bill records

If a cancellation or return is approved, the order bill and applicable charges, discounts or coupon usage may be adjusted according to the order record and the rules applicable to that order. The final amount should be confirmed in the updated bill or by WEEKLY. Do not rely on an earlier bill total if the order has subsequently been changed.

6. How to contact us

Email weeklyofficial7@gmail.com or use the in-app Help & Support option if available. Include your order number, contact details and a concise description of the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive payment credentials.

Service note: This page describes the intended customer request flow and general handling principles. Before public launch, confirm it against the live cancellation, return and payment implementation and applicable Indian consumer requirements.
